Connecticut

Connecticut is one of the New England states since it is located in northeastern US. This state offers a blend of coastal cities, rural areas, and small towns. Even though it is a small state, Connecticut has plenty of notoriety such as the home of Yale University – one of the world’s most prestigious universities – and the Peabody Museum of National History. It is also the home of the first female to receive a US patent and the first music school in the US. Marathon races are also held in various parts of the state throughout the year. Some of these races are qualifying events for the much-anticipated Boston Marathon.
