Hello! Welcome to 262.run!
My name is Laura, I am passionate about all things running, fitness and health! I have been running since 2013 and ran my first half marathon in 2014. I then ran my first full marathon in 2018! In 2017 I fell in love with distance running and have now completed four marathons and counting!
Ever since I was a kid I have moved around a lot. I was born in New York, but aside from that I have stuck to the western side of the United States. I have lived in different areas of Mesa and Tucson in Arizona; in California I have lived in various areas around Sacramento (Elk Grove, Loomis, North Highlands, Arden area), as well as Berkeley, San Francisco, Santa Monica and San Diego; I lived in the Salt Lake area-the avenues, Murray, Draper, and up by the U of U; and lived in Portland, Oregon.
In 2016 I married an amazing man, we have two dogs-Cookie and Daisy. Scott supports my running and has played a big part in my running achievements and aspirations.
I started this blog in April of 2019 as a side hobby. I am not a trainer or coach, I do not have any college degree in fitness. Just someone who loves talking about running. And I love reading other runner blogs, so I decided to start my own. Enjoy 🙂
